After a few years of performing originals and covers for live shows only, Moped was overdue for a studio album.
Ask Your Doctor features key tracks from their live set, such as Saxual Harassment, as well as album-only tracks like Gentle Thing and Burn Fat While You Sleep.
Peter found his voice with Glowing and began a new direction with vocals, which would later evolve on their 2009 release
Moped Moves On. The album also features a piano sample of
Erik Deutsch on "Fall Back," and a remix of Pocket. "What You Say" and "Breakfast Makes Perfect" were added as bonus tracks in 2008.
